Optimist World Championship

We are committed to the future of sailing and collaborate with the Optimist World Championship.

This edition of the championship had been held in the Bay of Roses from June 15 to 25 organized by the Ballena Alegre Sailing Club with whom we have signed a collaboration agreement.

We had collaborated in sustainable, family, inclusive and educational nautical proposals organized in three main axes: the Mediterranean Sea, the Sailor and the Nautical and we had participated in the “Conscious Fair” organized in the Village of the Optimist World Championship from June 16 to 18.

On the axis of the Mediterranean Sea

We program the ‘SalvaMars Cirkus’, a clown show to raise awareness about caring for the environment and disseminate information about the actions they can do to respect their environment.

In the axis of Nautical

We promote the construction of a boat for beginners in sailing made with recyclable resins and natural fibers. In addition, it has the same measurements as a traditional Optimist IOD 95 helmet.

This project has been developed jointly with the Club de Vela Ballena Alegre and has been built in the shipyard Naaix.

On the axis of the Sailor

We are committed to inclusive sailing and collaborate with the Cruyff Foundation : they will organize outings for families with children with disabilities.
